Machinery Sales Co. was founded in Los Angeles, California in 1938 by three individuals named Troop, MacConnell and Christanson to service, support and sell quality metal cutting machine tools. Machinery Sales Co. was originally located on Santa Fe Avenue, the heart of Southern California's machine tool industry. During

the early 1950's, the company relocated to Leonis Blvd. in the city of Vernon and remained in that location until our current facility was constructed in 1980. In addition to our headquarters in Los Angeles, Machinery Sales Co. opened up a branch office in Northern California in the early 1960's. We then expanded to Salt Lake City to cover the growing industrial market in Utah in the early 1990's.

Although sales is our middle name, we actually employ more customer support people than sales personnel. We specialize in providing factory trained specialists to install and/or repair the machines that we sell. In addition to these service technicians, we have a staff of applications engineers who provide training for both the programming and operation of these machines. We have a theater/classroom in Los Angeles which provides an excellent environment for customer seminars, CNC training and ongoing training of our salespeople. Each of our locations contain a similar training and is staffed by applicaions engineers.

Our staffing includes a strong outside sales force covering our marketing area, a complete parts and service department, management team, accounting department office administration, financing, inside sales, marketing support and shipping and receiving.

We maintain a large stock of repair parts and accessories for the machines that we sell. Our dedicated order department has dozens of years of experience in the machine tool business. Our showrooms are stocked with examples of most of the machines that we sell and we keep them under power and demonstration ready. Machinery Sales Co. has provided financing and leasing machine tools since 1940. We take pride in our quick response for finance approvals and rapid preparation of financing documents. Over the years, Machinery Sales Co. has won many achievement awards for outstanding service and performance as well as Distributor of the Year awards. We've also won other awards such as highest volume sold and Presidents Award.
